Credits
Credits are consumed every time you receive an AI response or call a tool while creating games on Agent8.
Checking Your Balance
Navigate to Credits in the sidebar to see your current balance.
The Credit Balance section shows:
- Your current balance in USD
- A View Logs → button linking to the full usage history
Adding Credits
The Top Up Credits section on the right has two options:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Buy Credits | Purchase credits directly with a payment method |
| Redeem Code | Enter a promotional or gift code to add credits |
Click Buy Credits to open the payment flow and select a credit package.
Creator Partner Program
If you need a larger credit allocation for sustained development, you can apply for the Creator Partner Program via the link shown on the Credits page.
Credits are consumed per AI response and per tool call. Switching to a lower-cost model (e.g., Gemini 3 Flash) or disabling expensive tools (e.g., Cinematic at $2.5/call) reduces credit usage.
Tracking Usage
The Logs page (accessible via the sidebar or the “View Logs” button) shows a detailed, paginated history of every credit event:
- AI Usage — Each AI response, showing the model used, input/output token counts, cache reads, and total cost
- Tool Usage — Each tool call with the tool name and cost (e.g.,
spritesheetGeneration2D,imageGeneration2D)
This lets you understand exactly what consumed your credits in each session.
